Trombonist/composer Weston Olencki presents two new projects integrating live instruments within dense environments of electronic sound. He will be joined by John McCowen and Carlos Cordeiro.

"shuttlecraft" is ambient sound extracted from within the hull of spacecraft computer terminals. sonic transmissions bleeding out into an empty vastness.

This event will also be the debut of tunnels, a new project for analog synthesizers and amplified low reeds comprising virtuosic clarinetists John McCowen, Carlos Cordeiro, and Madison Greenstone. tunnels explores sculptural forms constructed from inharmonic resonances, viscous planes of sound, and pulsating drones of wave interference built from the outer reaches of composed and improvised practices.
